Maple Syrup Time

Driving around our area you'll notice metal buckets hanging on maple trees collecting sap to make maple syrup. Cold nights and warm days are needed to start the sap running. It takes 40 litres of sap to make 1 litre of syrup.

Ken, how much do you pay for a litre of pure maple syrup grade B? The one I buy comes from Québec, but it's sold under the brand name Trader Joe's (a California based company) and costs US $8.99 - the price has been going up a buck/year since 2005.

Well....I've never seen that before!
And you know what - I don't think I've ever actually tasted REAL maple syrup.

This is so cool. I've never seen in real life -- though I've read about it, of course. Great picture.
