Red Barn

I like old barns not sure why I just do. Barns like are disappearing fast especially with the housing boom in the Greater Toronto Area and some out of neglect. Hopefully this one will be around for a long while.

Me so too - I like old barns; even those that are tumbling down - which this one is not.

I like the situation of this barn, too.

We still got barns. Not so nicely painted but they are still there. And they were made with wooden pins and huge oak and walnut tree trunks span their widths. And they don't fall down but lean a little more each generation. They get a mite gray looking in the process but are homes to wildlife and nature and time passes.

Very pretty. Btw, found your blog via our friend from Ramsey. Your town is lovely - I like those beautiful buccolic scenes. :)
