Field Flowers

These purple wild flowers were everywhere on Cape Breton Island. I'm thinking their flocks but that's just my guess, so if you know drop me a line.

I really don't know what those purple flowers are, but they look great like a carpet!

If I could see a close-up of one of those purple flowers, Imight be able to identify it, but I bet the local could tell you very easily.
