Yonge Street

Starting at the waterfront in Toronto and ending in the northern Ontario town of Rainy River Yonge Street is 1178 miles or 1896 kilometers long and is thought to be the longest street in the world.

Yes, and I've traveled the full length of it. We did it one summer in a little old beetle volkswagon.

Funny you said that Chris,one of my best memories as a child was traveling the route camping along the way. Haven't done it as an adult .... yet.
