The Canada geese are beginning to return to the reservoir (or the duck pond as my children called it when they were young) before they migrate south. Some years there could be a thousand or more but with the new houses north of us they have less spots to feed so that will probably lessen their numbers. That should make the neighbours that back onto the pond happy because it will be less noisy.
