Isn't it sad when the apples lie rotting on the ground? I sometimes rescue the better ones and cut out the bad parts and make a crumble.
Funny thing is this is in a school play yard so you would think someone would pick the apples. Although the ones on the tree are just as bad.
Whoops! I looked at this photo and said "Mushrooms!"
I'm amazed the local squirrels haven't gathered a few up for munching on. ;-)
Perhaps I should go over there with my wheelbarrow and bring them back to add to my compost pile!
