What a nice photo. I love these birds, and have never taken a good picture of one that I can remember. It's so nice to see it here :)
I have just discovered your blog, enjoyed checking out your photos, and have signed up as a follower. I have posted a fair number of bird photos on my site in the past, as (and I don't mean to brag) we have more bird species in tiny Costa Rica than all of Canada and the USA combined. It is tough to get photos like yours today of a bird with its beak open. Well done.
I really like colourful birds, this one is new to me so very interesting.
