I wouldn't leave the shore in that but it makes for a nice photo!

Oh, I really like this. It is almost the same as the North Sea cobles I grew up with. Only ours at our village had a straight flat back (stern) because they had to be hauled up over the sand to the slipways. They couldn't be anchored for any length of time. The weather was too changeable and often severe.

Hi Ken, may I please have your permission to try to draw and paint the photo you have taken of the old fishing boat (row boat). It will be for my pleasure only. I don't sell my paintings -- not that they would sell very well anyway. I just like to draw and paint. I will not be able to get to it until about a month from now as we are going away soon for three weeks. But I'd love to give it a try.
