We had a very nice stay in the village of Jordan, Ontario which is about an hours drive from Toronto heading towards Niagara Falls. I highly recommend the Inn on the Twenty for the accommodations and even more for their dining room. The dinner was probably the best I've had in many years and their wine wasn't too bad either!

Main Street

Looks lovely. It's so nice to get away for a couple of days and explore somewhere that you haven't been before. Glad you had fun.
I'm ba-ack! Niagara Falls at this time of the year! We used to go every 25th of June to celebrate my husband's birthday. We loved Edwards Gardens too.
But I should tell you about our very early Canadian experience at Niagara, where we once had fried chicken for dinner in a restaurant. They brought it to us in a basket and we sat there for ages, very British-like, wondering why they didn't bring the knives and forks! In the end we had to ask for them. I bet they had a good laugh in the kitchen.
Still got some catching up to do.
