The Flame

The Olympic Flame came through Stouffville this morning. What an amazing event! A once in a life time experience that will be remembered forever.

Awesome photo of the Olympic flame and the excited onlookers! Could you send the torch to Eagan so I could take a photo for my blog, too?!

Great photo Ken. I took pics too, some are on my blog today.
Quite an impressive turnout of Olympic supporters, wasn't it? But of course, there are always idiots who see a crowd of 1000 people in the middle of Main St and try and drive right through them!!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes when two cars drove past me into the crowd.

The Olympic flame through Stouffville??? Wow! No offense but it was such a small place when I was there. But great thing for Stouffville! Good shot too. This should put the town on the map.

OK let me guess, you're the guy with glasses and a big camera on the right edge of the picture of the horse drawn carriage.... right?

Oh no! Anything but the Emmerson mask!!!
I'm hoping to see the flame again on the 29th in Alliston w/ my grandson.

It’s that time of year again! I’m doing the rounds and apologising for my complete failure to more regularly offer comment on everybody’s incredible efforts for the year. I know how hard it can be to keep up with the daily grind of everyday posting, and want to thank you for your efforts.

I especially want to wish festive greetings for all from down here at [nearly] the end of the world, the bottom of Tasmania.

So, if you could delete whatever is not applicable, I’d like to wish you a very pleasant/merry/happy/wonderful/safe Amaterasu; Ashurall; Beiwe; Choimus; Christmas; Dazh Boh; Dongzhi; Goru; Hanukkah; Hogmanay; Junkanoo; Karachun; Koleda; Lenæa; Meán Geimhridh; Modranicht; New Years; Ras as-Sana; Rozhanitsa Feast; Şeva Zistanê; shōgatsu; Summer Solstice [if you're in the Southern Hemisphere]; Sviatki; Vánoce; Winter solstice [if you're in the Northern Hemisphere]; Yalda; Yule-tide; Ziemassvētki; and Коляда!

With a hearty three cheers from Kris, Jen, Henry and Ezra!

Good shot. I remember the excitement of the Olympic flame in Sydney in 2000.

I'm a bit late with my greetings. I trust you had a wonderful Christmas and wish you all the best for the New Year.
