Built in 1896 it started life as a market and concert hall but it has also been a movie theatre, bowling alley and billiard hall, garage and finally a town hall. The town vacated the premises about 10 years ago and it remained empty except for a few artists that rent some space.Now it will be turned into an arts, cultural and entertainment centre with construction starting this month.

Hopefully they aren't going to tear it down!
It's a lovely building. I can see why artists are attracted to it. Maybe you'll let us see it again as the project goes along...
wonderful that it can have another life.
That is classic American architecture, I'm glad to hear that it being useful once more.
