Theme Day-Numbers

This is a stylized view of my car's instrument panel. Apparently, it can reach a speed of 240 km/hr, although that remains untested by me. The speed limit on our major highways is 100 km/hr but if you're not driving at least 120 km/hr then you're not keeping up with traffic. Why is that car manufacturers make cars that can go that fast?

I always understood cars were designed to go faster than the speed limit in order to give them power to reach that speed even when engine efficiency was low for some reason, but I've not driven for years so I may be up the creek.

So it looks like folks in Stouffville drive rockets to get around! This would make great desktop wallpaper.
