Waiting and Watching

With one eye on me this gull was waiting for it's next opportunity to feed. I find it interesting that when gulls find food they, instead of keeping it to themselves, begin to squawk alerting others to their find. I guess they were taught to share.

Our gulls are obviosly better mannered than yours. Nicely captured.

It's true! It is amazing too that if no gulls are around and someone throws out a piece of food---zoom--there they all are. They must keep sentries posted. MB

Nice shot! I love seagulls - they seem to have such personality and always look good through my lens!
