The sculpture
Women are Persons by Canadian artist Barbara Paterson is located in Ottawa on Parliament Hill and commemorates the "famous five" who fought to have women constitutionally declared "persons" so they could be eligible to sit in the Canadian Senate.

Gosh, I wonder what it was like in the Philippines before. Now I need to find out…
That's a great photo commemmorating an interesting time in our history here in Canada. I wonder how long that sculpture has been there. I don't remember seeing it on my last trip to Ottawa.
